8 Reales — Bicentennial of the Public Treasury (2024)

To commemorate the bicentennial of the creation of the Public Treasury in 2024, the National Mint and Stamp Factory-Royal Mint is issuing a commemorative silver coin.

The reverse depicts the coat of arms of Charles III, which appears in the General Instruction of July 3, 1824, by which the Public Treasury was created.

The obverse features a portrait of His Majesty King Felipe VI. The image of the King has changed from previous years, revealing a contemporary image.
