8 Reales — Radio Centenary (2024)

The National Mint and Stamp Factory-Royal Mint celebrates the centenary of the first radio broadcast in Spain with a commemorative silver coin.

The reverse features an image of a microphone and headphones, along with the coin's face value, the years 1924-2024, and a graphic depicting radio waves.

The obverse features an allegorical image of a radio broadcasting words and musical notes, against a background in the shape of the map of Spain, radio waves, and the legend CENTENARIO DE LA RADIO.
