2 € Proof 2024 — Bicentennial of the National Police (Wallet)

To commemorate the Bicentennial of the National Police, a 2-euro commemorative coin is being issued.

The Royal Decree of January 13, 1824, created the General Police of the Kingdom, the first national police force with the function of "guaranteeing public welfare and safety."

In its two centuries of history, the National Police has provided immediate and effective responses to the demands of all citizens and has become one of society's most beloved and valued institutions.

The coin is presented in a special numbered blister pack, with a maximum mintage of 7,500 units, and is minted by hand, using specially treated blanks and dies to achieve the highest quality, "proof" quality.
