XIII IBERO-AMERICAN SERIES - SPANISH COIN

The common theme of the XIII Ibero-American Series, to be released in 2024, is dedicated to the topic “Ibero-American Capitals.”

The obverse of the Spanish coin features the coat of arms of Spain within a circle. Surrounding it are the legend FELIPE VI, KING OF SPAIN, and the minting date 2024. Surrounding the central motif, in alphabetical order, are the national coats of arms of the countries participating in this issue: Argentina, Ecuador, Spain, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, and Portugal.

The reverse features a color image of Seville's Plaza de España, one of the Andalusian capital's most iconic and most visited monuments, which was built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition.
